During the weekend, we look forward to your presence tonight at the Church School Christmas party, during Sunday meditations at 9 am and worship for the third Sunday of Advent at 9:30 am.
Also, we look forward to connecting with you during Morning Meditations at Metropolitan at 7 am Monday through Friday, for our Men's prayer call at 7:30 am and Moral Monday with the Poor People's campaign on Monday, and for Noonday and Pastor's Study at noon and 7 pm Wednesday.
The book we are using for Noonday and Pastor's Study is Holy Imagination: A Literary and Theological Introduction to the Whole Bible by Judy Fentress-Williams. You can purchase the book at Indiebook.org, Christianbook.com, Target, and Amazon.
Please mark your calendars. Noonday and Pastor’s Study on December 22 & December 29 will be canceled. Both will resume on January 5. MCAM's "The Messiah Comes" will be hosted at 9:15 am on December 19th on Facebook and YouTube.

The Washington DC Poor People’s Campaign would like to invite Metropolitan A.M.E. The Love and Peace Unit of the Sarah Allen Missionary Society is kicking off the Angel Tree Project, continuing their 40-year ministry of supporting children in need by purchasing Christmas gifts for 200 children in the DMV community. This year they are asking for gift card purchases instead of actual gifts. Donations will also be accepted by checks made to Love and Peace – Metropolitan AMEC.
