Listening to Stevie Wonder, Praise God
Dear Church, have you ever wondered how it would sound if you turned some of the lyrics of songs around and inserted our God into the song? I sometimes find myself doing that to many contemporary songs that can so be so spiritual to me.
I recently did this one-day while listening to a masterpiece record, crafted by the gifted composer, songwriter, and prolific singer, Stevie Wonder. entitled, “As,” with the main stanza proclaiming, “I will be loving you always.”
When you have an opportunity to relax, please listen as if this record is being your message from our almighty God, whom we love and cherish loving.
Here are some of the lyrics from this masterpiece, which you can sing like me to the heavens above.
As by Stevie Wonder
As around the sun the earth knows she's revolving
And the rosebuds know to bloom in early May
Just as hate knows love's the cure
You can rest your mind assure
That I'll be loving you always
Just as time knew to move on since the beginning
And the seasons know exactly when to change
Just as kindness knows no shame
Know through all your joy and pain
That I'll be loving you always
