God's Perfect Timing
Sometimes things happen that make us know that though there are billions of people in the world, the God of the universe loves each of us. He is deeply involved in every detail of our lives. An event occurred a few days ago to remind me of this.
I have a long-time friend who is returning to her home in North Carolina. She asked me to help her find a moving company. I mentioned this to my neighbor. My neighbor said that she has a friend who is moving here from North Carolina and has made arrangements with a moving company. With information about the moving company, I shared it with my friend. We thought that the movers could bring my neighbor’s friend here and take my friend to North Carolina. When I told my friend about this plan she was overjoyed. We agreed that this was God at work!
God has shown us time and time again that His plan and timing are perfect! He is able to see the whole picture. We should develop a closer relationship with God through prayer, reading His Word, and trusting Him to do what is best for us.
Prayer
Dear God, help us to move through this day mindful of Your presence with us and thankful for Your love which never fails.
