“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith - and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God.”
-Ephesians 2:8 NIV

Grace
God’s grace is always available to us but because we are so busy we sometimes miss opportunities to experience how His goodness will enrich our lives. Each day we are given the greatest prize of all, God’s grace. If we know and accept Jesus Christ as our Savior, God shows His love to us even though we have done nothing to deserve it. Think of the gift of God’s Son, what an indication of God’s grace to us.
Our works never merit the blessings that come our way. Even when our days appear dark, God makes His presence known. Grace is an extension of God’s arms in our lives. We can lean on its strength in times of troubles, on its power to lift us above temptation and toward our blessings. During this Lenten Season, let us remember God’s grace is sufficient for every situation.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank you for giving the greatest gift of all and for being there whenever I need your strength and grace. Amen
