Turn It Over to Him

I recently had a problem that I could not resolve. I could not deal with the resolutions that I came up with or the suggestions others offered. At one point I was so anxious that I could not sleep. Realizing I needed to talk to someone else about it, I consulted a close friend. She told me, “Barbara, this is not something you need to act on. Turn it over to God and he will take care of it.” We prayed and she gave me scripture to read. She was right. The situation is resolving itself slowly as I have done nothing but pray.

This is nothing new; but sometimes we forget how to cope when we are overwhelmed, confused, and threatened. The COVID-19 virus is overwhelming the world and everyone is dealing with it in their own way. Unfortunately, some people’s methods hurt others.

Let this Lenten season bring you comfort in God’s revelations about the science that will end this virus and continue to pray that more people will have the good sense to use it.

Prayer

Our Heavenly Father, Thank you for the Resurrection of your son Jesus and the comfort of knowing that you are always there for us. Amen!
