If you struggle to maintain a healthy weight or manage diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or heart disease, join the African American Culinary Heritage cooking and nutrition immersion classes on January 14th and 21st after service in Douglass Hall. The class will last about 75 minutes at each session.
This immersion will include plant-based cooking demonstrations, food tastings, and great health information. This opportunity is brought to you by a partnership between the Lorraine Gillian MD Health Commission and the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine.

We're excited to announce the new book for 7pm Pastor's Study for 2024. Beginning January 17, we will be reading This Here Flesh: Spirituality, Liberation, and the Stories that Make Us Better by Cole Arthur Riley. Rev. Shively TJ Smith and Dr. Dana A. Williams will be our discussion leaders.
Join us for 12 weeks of close reading of a book that critics describe as "storytelling that helps us examine our capacity to rest, wonder, and repair."
