This weekend, We look forward to your presence Sunday for morning meditations at 9 am and in worship for the Second Sunday of Lent at 9:30 am.


During the week, Morning Meditations with Metropolitan continue at 7 am Monday through Friday, Men's Prayer Call at 7:30 am on Monday, and Noonday and Pastor’s Study at noon and 7 pm continue on Wednesday.


For our study, we are in dialogue with Dr. Judy Fentress-Williams' Holy Imagination: A Literary and Theological Introduction to the Whole Bible. We’re invited to contemplate the scripture and its implications as we engage in the world. You can purchase the book at Bookshop, Target, and Amazon.

Celebrating African Americans in Science and Engineering

Today, Saturday, March 12, from 11 am -12 pm we encourage all youth aged 10-18 to attend a free, interactive, virtual STEM workshop. This exciting event is being sponsored by NSBE Jr. & the Percy Julian Institute of Daniel A. Payne CDC with Metropolitan AMEC.

We celebrate Sis. Grace McMiller, the president of our National Society of Black Engineers Jr. Chapter, who has participated faithfully in robotics at Metropolitan.

The Men's Prayer Call is a sacred space where brothers can share and explore their relationship with God in Christ Jesus. All brothers are encouraged to join. The call will be every Monday Morning at 7:30 am – 7:45 am on Zoom.

On Sunday, March 20, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm, Metropolitan and the Washington Interfaith Network will host a VIRTUAL March on Washington to demonstrate our power and communicate our demands for a vibrant, livable, safe, healthy, and affordable diverse city.
